My passion as a psychotherapist lies in creating a space that is compassionate and grounded, where clients feel deeply seen and supported. My journey into social work is deeply personal. Being the daughter of immigrants who came to the U.S. seeking personal freedoms, my experience shaped my commitment to empathy, cultural sensitivity, and supporting others through trauma and life challenges. I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) from NYU Silver School of Social Work, where I concentrated on trauma-focused care, personal exploration, and supporting individuals through periods of uncertainty, growth, and transition. My clinical training includes extensive work with young adults and emerging professionals navigating anxiety, depression, complex trauma, relational dynamics, and major life transitions. I’ve developed a strong foundation in integrative and evidence-based modalities that support both healing and sustainable growth. In my work, I am attachment-based and draw from a range of approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), mindfulness-based interventions, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic insight, and strengths-based, trauma-informed care. I specialize in helping clients better understand their emotional patterns, develop healthier relationships, with themselves and others, and build tools to move through distress with clarity and confidence. In addition to individual therapy, I work with couples seeking deeper connection, improved communication, and healing from relational wounds. I have completed the Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) Externship, which grounds my couples work in research-based, emotion-driven interventions that foster secure attachment and deeper emotional bonds. Whether you're navigating conflict, disconnection, or transitions as a couple, I work collaboratively to help you reconnect in a way that feels safe, respectful, and meaningful. Starting therapy can feel intimidating, but it’s also a courageous step toward healing. I create a supportive, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where you can show up just as you are. If you’re looking for a therapist who will listen deeply, challenge you thoughtfully, and help you access the resilience you already carry, I would be honored to support you on your path.
